Jumping on a Jumpsuit Challenge!
Sometimes the stupidest comments can get me riled up! For instance, my husband’s friend was talking about jumpsuits several months back, stating that they were hard to pull off so most people shouldn’t try. Well, if you want me to do something just say it’s next to impossible and I’ll be all over it like a fly on you know what! Plus, I quickly pointed out that I wear jumpsuits frequently and have for years, but he didn’t believe me. So here is one of said jumpsuits, a vintage nightie which I have seen fit to wear out of the house. The added bonus of being super comfy doesn’t hurt one bit either! So don’t hold back, please tell me if you would do this particular don’t!!

I believe in doing "don'ts" my friend has been wearing the most awesome polka dotted jumpsuit on our road trip and my respect for her totally soared thru the roof, it looks awesome. I don't wear them, though, b/c it makes peeing annoying.
ReplyDeleteMelinda Bee!! I know what you're sayin', you don't usually have to take your top off to go pee! But it's worth it, I will make such sacrifices for an outfit I love!! Thanks for stoppin by!!
ReplyDeleteYOU are one be fashion Please DO! Love the jumpsuit, but I love "onesies" on prinicple. Love how you make this outfit so fun, and way better than marching around in public in a track suit.
ReplyDeleteHere's to "breakin' the rules" !
Bella! From one rule breaker/fun maker to another, thanks girlfriend!! I made my own rule long ago to wear sweats to and from exercising only!! And juicy or pink across the butt, don't even get me started!! Thanks for visiting and being a rad presence in my life! MWAH!!
ReplyDeleteFantasmo!!! Yeah, girl, read 'em the riot act.You look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHelga!! You know it, sister!! Thanks for your sassy input, I love it when you chime in!!
ReplyDeleteYes I would TOTALLY do jumpsuits!!! I freaking love them and I always have, I've put on so much weight lately that I only fit one of mine but I still wear it.xx.
ReplyDeleteKitty!! My food baby is stretching this jumpsuit out!! I remember it being loose, it's tighter now but it's still comfy! Thanx for droppin' in sweetie!!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely can pull the jumpsuit very well.
ReplyDeleteI use to wear the 90's version of the jumper (they were like mini dresses with wide legs) with tights.
The belt, necklace and sunglasses are so cool!!
Have a fantastic weekend!
Ofelia!! Thanx, right back atcha babe!!! I have a neon green 90s TLC jumpsuit to rock out at time!! I ain't to proud to beg for attention!!! I hope you have a hot weekend too, but stay cool!!!
ReplyDeleteRockin' the jumpsuit, there! I love the leopard print on you, so rrrrrrrrrrrrock 'n' roll.
ReplyDeleteI adore my jumpsuits (it's just getting them back on after I've made a toilet stop).
Nothing worse than someone going all fashion fasicist and laying down the law with what we can and cannot wear, it's like a red flag to a bull and I have to go and find one out and wear it. xxx
Love the jumpsuit it looks great:)
ReplyDeleteWell, I LOVE a jumpsuit and have worn them forever - though I wear them less at the moment because they are a 'trend' item and I am contrary and don't want to wear them if anybody else is!
ReplyDeleteYou look AMAZING and is there anything better than a jumpsuit? YES - a LEOPARD jumpsuit. So I bow down to you and your jumpsuit and tell your friend to stick that in his pipe and smoke it!
Sarah xxx
I used to have a jumpsuit that was hard to pull off. Literally. And since I have to pee a lot, I let it go to someone else. Here's to those who can wear them comfortably.
ReplyDeleteYou look terrific. I like jumpsuits: they have elan which is an attitude that suits you.
ReplyDeleteVix!!! I pity the fool who would challenge your outfit choices!! A red flag to a bull indeed! So funny!
ReplyDeleteClairejustine! Thanks for you compliment and visit!!
Sarah!!! I'm cracking up at your contrary stance!! I feel the same way, when I go to forever 21 it's to see what not to wear!! Trends are so unimaginative, not for bold syle leaders such as yourself!!
Judy C!! Hard to pull off, literally! So true, I must admit I may not wear them if I'm goin on a beer swillin binge!! Thanks for stoppin by!!
Shybiker!!! Thanks so much, I really value your opinion as true original in a sea of conformity! MWAH!

ReplyDeleteThe more I blog, the more strange things I want to wear. I see so much possibility! I don't know what I love the most: that you're wearing a nightie or that it's a jumpsuit or maybe I just like your glamorous take on the whole thing!
ReplyDeletedebbie baker burns!! Thanks for the compliment!! I think the nightie was well made (like most mid century union made garments) and it is fully lined so I don't fear for overexposure! And it's just too fun to keep inside!! So glad you enjoyed your visit!! You're always welcome to stop by!!
